[That was harder than it should have been, but Barry doesn't care. He threads his fingers with hers.] All five. Just right.

[she leans forward to open one of the pizza boxes on the coffee table and grabs her a slice with her free hand, passing it to Barry before grabbing herself one] And all the pizza!

Ohhhhhh no it's so good, though!! It's like... bzzzzzt and then wham! [she spreads her fingers out, eyes wide with excitement]
Besides who has time to meet people! And I'll smush them!! Just. [she shakes her head so much she's dizzy and she falls back on the couch laughing] Me and sex and humans... noooooo, bad idea.
Ugh, right? [On the best of days Barry doesn't have the greatest filters in place. Add in a few shots of rum and the first time he's gotten good and drunk in a couple of years? Forget it.
Barry grins as he finishes off the rest of his shot. Man. He can't feel his face. This is the best.] Me? I can't without giving away who I am. No chance.
[He holds up a hand, making it vibrate.] See this? Happens when I get.. you know. [He laughs easily.] Kinda screws up the mood. Human plus metahuman? No good.
[Kara stares at his hand, mesmerized, a little too long] Whooooooa. Barry that is... that is really cool. [SHE'S not having Ideas, that's for sure, no way.]
I need... we need... more. Maybe. Probably not. I'ma get some more, though. [she slurs her words and pushes herself up, wobbling on her feet and nearly tripping. Luckily, she catches herself at the last minute.] Whoo! Okay!
[she toddles back to the kitchen to grab the bottle and decides, instead, to speed to the couch, judging the distance and her drunken superpowers a liiiiittle incorrectly and slamming into Barry instead, sending him back onto the couch and Kara halfway, awkwardly on top of him]
Hahahahaha oops. Hi there. I brought... I brought this. Good stuff. [she shakes the bottle next to Barry's head]

[Well it's certainly a relief that she's not Getting Ideas. Because Barry sure isn't. Nope. Nosir.
He laughs easily as she wobbles up, ready to catch her before she stumbles off to the kitchen for the bottle. Another shot is clearly a bad idea, but bad ideas have never stopped Barry before. Besides. They're friends, they're sharing drinks. What could possibly go wrong?

Before Barry can even come up with said Bad Idea, a blonde blur plows into him, dropping them both back onto the couch with a laugh. His grin is bright, if a little lopsided.] Hi. Good. That stuff is really good you know.
Um. Is it getting warm in here? [Or maybe it's his arm around Kara's waist and the way she's draped over him. Still smiling up at her, Barry tucks a lock of hair behind her ear.]
[Kara giggles on top of him and then leans into the touch, a warm smile on her face and her eyes closed] Mmmmmm warm yes. Super warm.
[a pause and then a gasp and Kara's eyes flash open] No! No. Falling asleep is NOT happening. [she doesn't get up, though, settling a little better on top of Barry and resting her chin on his chest to grin at him] Stop being so comfortable, Berry Allem. Barry Alllllen. There we go.
[Barry laughs in reply, watching the way she leans into his touch. He shouldn't keep touching her hair, right? Right.]
Nope. No falling asleep yet. We just got started and we don't get enough down time. [A snortchuckle as his nose wrinkles with a smile. His arm stays around her waist, helping her get comfortable.] You're pretty comfy too Kara Zoral. Zorro. Zor-El. There. Got it. Third time's the charm, right?
Yes. You're charming. [she buries her face in his chest and lets out muffled giggling. Why? WHY NOT.]
Wait wait wait I have SUCH a great idea oh my gosh. [remember the bottle of Aldebaran rum? Oh yeah. She unscrews the top and holds it up at an angle, not enough to pour out yet but enough to show her intentions] Mooooorrre rum! Open up!
[Naturally her giggles are contagious and it's not long before Barry is laughing right along with her. Oh god he can't remember when he's had this much fun, laughing at absolutely nothing.] And you're cute. And pretty. And and you totally desserve better than some battery operated..
Yes. More rum. [Anything to get him to stop talking. Please.] Gimmie.
[oh BARRY. Kara would be blushing if she wasn't already flushed pink from the rum] Shhhhhh shhh we don't... we don't talk bad about my friends. [she dies laughing again, almost dropping the bottle]
Whoops! Okay, okay, okayokayokay. [she pours some rum into his mouth and then - oops, doesn't tip the bottle up fast enough and gets some on his chin, the rum running down his chin to puddle in the curve of his neck, just above his adam's apple]
[well. you can't just waste great rum. it's expensive! she doesn't even get a Supergirl discount!] Ooops! Oops oops I can get it! [she announces this loudly before dipping down and licking and lapping up the rum off of his neck, sucking lightly at his skin. What? She has to get it all]
[Hey, for the record she's pretty darn cute when she's all flushed.
NOT that Barry notices things like that. (okay so yes he has)
Barry is still laughing, trying to get a hand free to help her with the bottle so she doesn't pour it all down his throat when it spills. He swallows, relishing the way it tingles all the way down to his toes.] Man that stuff's good. Like super good. Super Rum? Yes. Totally Supergirl has Super Rum!
[His laughter trails off into a squawk of surprise as Kara leans in to lick the spilled rum away. Okay. Okay. He can maintain. He can make sure this doesn't get weird, right?
Nope. It has been way too long since anyone has touched Barry like that and he's far too drunk to control the vibrations as they send his entire body buzzing.] Whoops. I'm.. um.
Oh please don't kill me for this. [But she's pretty, she's sweet and brave and the rum is providing just enough liquid courage as he surges up, one hand sliding up to cup her jaw as he moves in to kiss her.
Hopefully she won't, you know, punch him right through the building or something.]
[her laugh is cut off when Barry kisses her, which is... really nice. Oh, wow. She's had a few good kisses in her day, but with the way the rum is warming her from the inside out and Barry is thrumming underneath her, this is just... nice.]
[she does drop the bottle of rum then, thankfully close enough to the ground that it doesn't shatter, but it does land on its side, spilling rum out of the lip and onto the rug underneath her couch. oh well! later problem. she's too busy twining her arms around Barry's neck and kissing him back, warm and close and sweet]
[Barry will absolutely help with cleanup later, and possibly chip in for another bottle.
But later. Right now he's too busy enjoying warm, soft kisses with Kara, his arms around her, one hand carding through her hair. The kisses are leisurely and happy, not gradually deepening into anything more intense so for the most part Barry can keep the occasional involuntary buzz under control.
He's warm and floaty, content to kiss and laugh quietly when the need for air finally forces them apart.]
[It's fun and warm and frankly he can't remember the last time he's been so relaxed. Kisses eventually become snuggling on the couch which soon leaves both heroes sleeping soundly, Kara still draped over Barry, her cheek resting on his chest.
Why is there a buzzing in his ear? That's not his alarm.] Whazzt.. [Barry's hand bats at something small and furry perched on the pillow. Furry. Cat. Tiger. A few bleary blinks of his eyes and he confirms that yes indeed, there is a small striped cat licking his forehead.]Mnf.
[Yep. That rum was the best worst idea ever.
Kara. Suddenly Barry is very much awake as remembers. Drinking rum. Kissing Kara. He kissed Kara. He kissed her and now she's asleep on him and oh dear God what did they do last night?]
[Kara has buckets of energy, compared to humans, so she doesn't need as much sleep as they do to survive and thrive. But when she crashes, she crashes like a rock, sleeping soundly atop Barry the whole night. Way more hours than usual but - thanks, Aldebaran, whoever or whatever you are.]
[Once Barry is shifting under her, though, she wakes up, slowly at first until she realizes how lumpy her bed is and then... yup, that's Tiger's butt, right in her face. Not the first time she's woken up to such a sight.] Ugggggh Tiger ge'off. [she throws her curls over her eyes to hide the sunlight streaming in through the windows and tries to go back to sleep]
[that is... until her pillow rises and falls with a quick breath. What the.

[she glances down at herself and at Barry. Okay... clothes, she sees clothes. She pats herself up, pants, shirt - her hands land on her breasts without her even thinking about it. Bra. In tact, okay.]

[Yep. They were sleeping on one another and his eyes snap fully open as she bolts up. Thankfully she's sitting on his thighs and not.. you know.

Oh those are hands on breasts and he's just going to look everywhere but there. Finally she hops off and he swings his legs over the side of the couch to sit up, running a hand through his wild hair.
He picks up the bottle of rum and sets it on the coffee table.] Yeah. So last night I guess we, um. I mean I..
[Kara blushed hard, rubbing her lips together. She remembered... most of last night, slowly. It was a little blurry, but there. She crossed her arms over her chest. What if... Okay, she has to figure this out right now because Barry is saying that it was nice - and it was! but what if...]
[she sits down too hard next to Barry, super strength cracking the frame of her couch.] Shoot. [that was the third one]
[she put a hand on Barry's arm] Okay, I... yeah, I totally agree it was nice. Please don't think I don't. I had a really good time, but we were... wow, Barry, we were drunk. Are you sure... are you sure you're okay with what happened? Because I never would have... I mean. It's not like you could really consent, so...
[Most of last night is still filtering in and what Barry remembers? It was really nice. Shared laughter, soft lips, feeling normal even if they were drinking rum that would kill an ordinary human ten times over.

[Deep breath. Focus, Allen.] We didn't get any further than that and I'm glad. I mean, yeah, we were drunk, but we were smart enough not to let things get too far before we fell asleep.

I'm just scared of what could have happened, I guess. But... yeah, I'm glad we... we stopped. [she licked over her lips, looking up at him again] So, we're both 100% sure that everything that happened was okay?
[Barry nods and after a moment's hesitation, reaches over to take her hand in his.] We're good. It was great, really.
Um. It was so great that maybe next time we could try it without the rum? Like, it was fun getting drunk, don't get me wrong, but maybe I could take you out on a date? [Wow. Super smooth, Barry. Good job.]
Barry's grin is immediate and bright. She said yes.] Well who's to say we can split it up? A little time on your Earth, then maybe you can visit mine? I know some great places we can check out.
